The hotel offers cleverly designed rooms with ample space and storage, making it a better alternative to standard hotel rooms. The staff puts a great deal of thought into their service, making me happy to stay again. The location is ideal for exploring Liverpool, being very close to all attractions, although a thicker mattress would enhance comfort. The dining experience was good, with a focus on seafood. Overall, a valuable stay with minor room for improvement.

The hotel's rooms were very cleverly designed, offering a unique and charming alternative to a standard hotel room. They were beautiful, with high ornate ceilings, gorgeous wood paneling, an incredible old fireplace, and 3 large windows. Everything was spotlessly clean with all the amenities needed for a weekend getaway. I will definitely be returning to experience this lovely ambiance again. The service was exceptional, as the staff were really helpful in responding to an issue we had on arrival and sorted the problem out straight away. Their attentiveness and quick resolution made our stay even more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few minutes' walk to the heart of Liverpool, allowing us to easily explore the city without having to travel far. The quiet surroundings and easy access to the town center made our visit stress-free and convenient. Although the dining options didn't include many details, the use of local and seasonal products added a touch of authenticity to the experience. The facilities at the hotel were pretty standard but provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is conveniently located only a short walk to the train station and very close to all the attractions. The lack of onsite reception or staff was a downside, and the room temperature control was poor.
